Pub N' Prime
Review
A true northwoods supper club experience, Pub N' Prime blends classic Wisconsin charm with top-tier food and service.
Ambiance
From the cozy bar to the warm, inviting dining room, this place captures the essence of a traditional supper club. Woodsy, welcoming, and relaxed; it’s the kind of spot where locals linger and visitors instantly feel at home. This club was recommended to me by a local marina owner, which speaks to its strong local following and authentic vibe. The moment you enter Pub N' Prime, you're transported to a bygone era. Think wood paneling, tablecloths, and a crackling fireplace – a cozy and inviting ambiance. Don't miss the attached outdoor tiki bar for a tropical escape!
Relish Tray, Salad, & Soup
Excellent selection with fresh toppings, house-made dressings, and pasta sides that make it more than just a starter. We love the house-made dressings; and when a supper club adds the pasta too, who can go wrong?
Drinks
The Korbel old fashioned hits the mark; well-balanced and flavorful. We also had the bourbon old fashioned; yum.
Meal
Arguably the best prime rib in the Northwoods; tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Even those who don’t usually enjoy prime rib (like myself) will be converted. It's their signature dish, and locals swear by it.
All meals come with a cup of soup and a trip to the salad bar. We had the fries; next time we come; we will try the loaded baked potato; it looked delicious. Can you covet your neighbors order; well I did
Other standout entrées include BBQ ribs, charbroiled ribeye, and tenderloin steaks, all expertly prepared and full of flavor. The Friday fish fry is a regional favorite, with options like flounder, cod, walleye, and haddock—crispy, fresh, and satisfying.
Service
Attentive and well-paced, the staff adds to the welcoming, supper club vibe.
